Massive congratulations to Brinkworth Productions who have been Shortlisted for a 2024 Grierson Award. DCF are very proud to have completed full post on Cold Case Investigators: Solving Britain’s Sex Crimes in the Netflix Best Documentary Series category. It was a real pleasure to work with the amazingly talented team who worked on this series, editor Paul van Dyck and producer and director Natasha Zinni. Through first hand testimony, letters and historical archive footage, Daniela Volker’s poignant feature length documentary captures the shadows of guilt over generations.
As the descendant of a war criminal and a survivor meet, a story of hope and forgiveness is expertly delivered by this team of filmmakers.

What a pleasure it is to see the incredibly talented Daniela Volker’s work being discussed in the Telegraph in a full page spread.

It was a moving experience watching this film on the big screen at its London screening. It’s great to see this amazing film getting the attention it deserves and a real privilege for us here at DCF to have worked on it.

We are very sorry to hear the news that BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning journalist and filmmaker John Pilger has passed away. We were extremely lucky to work with John, on a number of incredibly insightful documentaries over the years and he became a good friend to DCF. Our thoughts and best wishes are with his family and friends at this sad time.

Massive congratulations to all of the team at Finestripe Productions who won the Best Single Documentary category at this year’s BAFTA Scotland Awards with the amazing documentary, The Mysterious Mr Lagerfeld, for BBC.
