Directors Cut Films are delighted to announce that Kate Davis and Edwin Matthews have been shortlisted for a Broadcast Tech Innovation Award in the ‘Excellence in Audio Post-Production (Non-scripted)’ category, for their work on the BBC documentary ‘Tommy Jessop Goes to Hollywood’ directed by the talented Will Jessop, and edited by the wonderful Claire Ferguson. Members of the DCF team were lucky enough to be invited to the UK premiere of Ken Loach’s eagerly anticipated latest film, The Old Oak, offline edited at Directors Cut. They had a fantastic night and gave the film rave reviews. If you haven’t booked your cinema tickets to see it yet, we highly recommend that you do.

Directors Cut Films is proud to announce the acquisition of boutique sound studio Portland Audio, run by senior shortform sound designer & mixer Claire Bilyard.
This exciting new venture allows us to introduce the benefits of DOLBY ATMOS workflow and delivery to our clients.
Located in our Portland House facility, whilst remaining independent, the two Portland Audio studios, each with isolated VO booths, will be serviced by the Directors Cut Post Producers, and will be available to Kate and her team.
